Seller note:

Do not let the age scare you. This freshwater 250 SRV is a real diamond in the rough. Buff out the hull, which shows no marks or scrapes, and wash her down and she will be ready for summer.
The 250 SRV is a day cruiser with room to sleep-over when desired. With no space used for a galley and head, although there is a porta potti, the cockpit is very large for a 25 footer. If you are looking for a day boat with lot's of room, this is a good option.
Starting forward, an electric winch handles the anchor duties. The anchor is on a teak pulpit and stays of of the way nicely. The foredeck is large enough for several sun bathers. Walk arounds are ample and there is stainless rail for security.
The cockpit is very large and has seating for 8. The helm and companion seats fold down for sunning or napping. Aft, the engine cover is centerline and seats two. Twin jump seats fit on either side. A transom gate leads to the big swim platform on the port side. Storage is everywhere you look. Side pockets, in deck, under seats and under the steps.
The helm is straight forward and visibility is good all around. There is a Bimini top and new mooring cover. All stitching on the seating has just been checked and refreshed. There are no tears to be found. The helm has a compass, Lowrance GPS/fishfinder, VHF and a brand new hand-held VHF, still in the box. The Jensen, MSR3007, stereo is also located on the helm. Benett trim tabs are oversize.
The cabin will sleep two very easily and has a newer porta potti located under the center cushion. The lounges will also provide a spot out of the sun to relax. Storage surrounds and is under the U-shaped berth/settee and several ports allow plenty of light. A large overhead hatch opens for plenty of ventilation. A spare prop(NEW), is mounted under the berth.
Power is from a Mercruiser 305 CI, 260 HP V-8. The Alpha one drive shows no corrosion and has a new bellows. The steering is new and the boat has had yearly checks and professional maintenance.
The canvas is in good condition and the mooring cover is new.
The trailer is not the prettiest thing, but it is sturdy and the power winch is in good shape.
This is a real chance to get into boating for a reasonable price. The 250 is located in Michigan near Port Huron, and the owner is getting out of boating and looking for offers.
This will make someone a nice day boat. She has been well cared for and will clean up well. Still under the stretch wrap as spring seems to be slow in coming this year.
